New whitepaper! The Benefits of Model Driven Development
This new whitepaper is written by Michael Azoff – Senior Research Analyst with Butler Group.
This paper discusses the evolution of application development, the benefits of model-driven approaches and how CA Gen has helped numerous customers successfully transition to new platforms, web-based architectures and SOA. Butler Group provides insight as to how CA Gen fits perfectly into the new world of loosely coupled composite applications, increasing business agility while lowering the costs of application ownership.

Major Gen Events on the cards !
Firstly:
With reference to this post , the main software which runs gentalk.biz has been upgraded, following a fairly major set of revamps to the peripheral software infrastructure of the site. There was some small downtime, but hopefully nothing that disrupted users of the site. If there was, then I apologise, but we are now back up and running after the upgrade.
There will be some smaller upgrades in the coming weeks, but nothing that will result in any downtime.
I’d like to remind all readers that if you have NOT yet signed up for the EDGE usergroup – please do – go to www.edgeusergroup.org and you’ll be just in time for the next EDGE newsletter.
CA World 2008 is on the horizon, which, after all is the highlight of the CA Calendar – registrations open imminently (April 15th). For more information go to www.caworld.com.
CA World is a fantastic event, after which I was inspired to create what became gentalk.biz - It’s a great way you network with the Gen world in a great location, and learn about what’s happening in the Gen world first hand – from the CA guys theselves!
