Outsystems’ Agility, Jumar Solutions and CA Gen – a Winning Combination
In this latest move, Jumar and Outsystems have released a set of tools which shows how the Agility platform and CA Gen are perfect bedfellows.
Doug Michael, Technical Director of Jumar Solutions tells us why here:
…and a demonstration of the platform and the way CA Gen can be leveraged is here:
Check out the page here for more information – I’m really enthused by all of this stuff – you need to look at this in more detail.

QAT Flows to Agility BPM
QAT’s QAT Flow product has been renamed “AGILITY BPM”
Gen and Business Process Management (BPM) tools sit really comfortably with one another. Gen provides the platform-agnostic and re-usability for existing assets and tools like Agility BPM provide the orchestration layer above the Gen-produced (and other) services.

Outsystems and Jumar – Agile in the making
I attended the Outsystems and Jumar Solutions’ “Agile in a Day” workshop yesterday – OK it’s really “Agile in a half a day” – a whistle-stop tour of the Agile method and the software platform to support it.
The session was more valuable that I could have imagined! It put several myths about Agile Development to bed for me – for example, I (and many others like me) had the notion that Agile Development was “keep developing until the customer is happy-however long it takes” – NOT SO ! The development method is a tightly controlled, customer-focussed mechanism which constantly seeks to deliver small pieces of functionality often, allowing the user to see the progress of the evolving system often.
The session was interactive, well thought out and extremely informative.
I came away with many new ideas and thoughts which, together with my colleagues, talked about almost constantly during the drive home and will certainly be working out how to implement some of those ideas.
Oh yes – I haven’t yet mentioned the tooling that supports this method yet !!! There’s a community edition which can be downloaded free which you can try and evaluate it.
Again – thanks to Jumar Solutions and Outsystems for a VERY informative day.
